About Us

Christine's father Colonel Gene Foxworth opened the business on Church Street, downtown Charleston, in the 1970s when she was in high school. At the age of 23, she learned the hardware business and took over the day-to-day management of the business. Christine's father eventually sold the downtown company but in 2005, she relaunched Foxworth Decorative Hardware. Just a year later, Christine's husband Rob Reilly joined the company as Vice President of Sales and Operations. While we initially opened on Chuck Dawley Blvd. in Mt. Pleasant, we are now conveniently located in the Shem Creek area.

We work closely with contractors, architects, interior designers and individual homeowners to select the perfect hardware for a new or remodeled home. Clients are given the option to sign out products so they can see how it would look in their own home, which really assists in decision making. We understand and respect our clients' budgets and we know that door and cabinet hardware are often considered "big-ticket" items. Knowing this, we understand cabinets, countertops and floors take up a significant part of an owner's budget. We provide a selection of options at every price point, good, better and best. Price points that suite your taste and your checkbook.

We encourage customers who are building new homes to schedule an appointment to ensure you receive one-on-one attention. We also install everything we sell.
